Most surgical problems require a visit to the operating room.  We can offer eye surgery either at Newcastle Eye Hospital, or at various public hospitals in our region.

Most eye surgery can be performed with local anaesthetic and sedation.   Our anaesthetists are very experienced, and all members of the Australian NZ College of Anaesthetists.  https://www.anzca.edu.au/.  It is normal to experience anxiety about the thought of needing eye surgery, but we can manage every kind of patient, and relieve your worries and concerns with education and powerful medications.
